The Situation
KL–Penang–KL, 3 Days
A traveller from Kuala Lumpur needed a vehicle for a family visit to Penang and return. Previous rentals from standard providers had resulted in mileage overage charges at return — the round trip distance had not been communicated during booking.
The Arrangement
3-Day Inter-City Sedan
Roamveldt confirmed the mileage allowance for the KL–Penang corridor before the booking was confirmed. The renter knew the exact allowance, the vehicle class, and what the total covered. A pre-trip route briefing was provided for both the outbound and return legs.
The Outcome
3-Day Trip, No Overages
The trip was completed within the mileage allowance. Return inspection took under 15 minutes with the renter present. No additional charges beyond the agreed arrangement price. The renter has since booked again for a separate JB trip.

4-City Sarawak Tour
A traveller planning a Sarawak road trip wanted to cover Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, and Kuching over seven days. The challenge was route variability — road conditions and distances between cities in interior Sarawak are less predictable than Peninsula expressways.
The Arrangement
Weeklong Inter-City Touring
The touring vehicle was selected with Sarawak road conditions in mind. Per-leg route notes covered each of the four legs with fuel stop guidance and estimated drive times based on current conditions at the time of booking. A mid-trip review was scheduled at Sibu.
The Outcome
7-Day Trip Completed
All four cities covered within the seven-day window. Mid-trip check at Sibu identified a minor tyre pressure adjustment, handled on the spot. Vehicle returned to Kuching with no issues. The renter cited the route notes as the most valuable element of the arrangement.
